Character Age: About six months old, or around 8-10 in human years. While a little on the young side, Simba has faced quite a bit of danger in his short lifetime. He's escaped hyenas who almost turned him into a meal, survived a near-death experience with wildebeest stampeding in a gorge, and sadly witnessed his father die in front of him. He was also basically exiled and left to die in a desert, before being saved by Timon and Pumbaa.

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
To answer both questions, that is Simba's father - Mufasa. His father is everything to Simba. His best friend, his mentor, and his source of guidance. Simba looks to Mufasa to teach him about life, and be there for him when things get scary. When Simba loses Mufasa, he loses that guidance as well, and is forced to continue on lost without him. While Timon and Pumbaa take care of Simba through most of his young life, it doesn't make up for the absence of Mufasa.
2. What are they most afraid of?
Disappointing his father. Simba wants to be like his father, and even says that he wants to be brave like him when Mufasa scolds him for going to the Elephant Graveyard with Nala. He sees Mufasa as a great king - fearless and strong. And Simba wants to be like that too. He just doesn't realize that he has some growing up to do first before he gets there.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Mentally, Simba can be influenced easily due to his young age. Scar is easily able to convince Simba that his father's death was his fault, and that he should exile himself from the Pridelands because of it. And then Timon and Pumbaa help him adopt the ideology of "Hakuna Matata" as a way of dealing with the grief over his father's death. He doesn't really have a complex understanding of the world yet either, as he planned to throw out rules that he doesn't like as soon as he's king without any understanding of why those rules were in place. He also doesn't understand that because he's young, he can't just go around doing whatever he wants without consequence.
Emotionally, Simba can be self-centered and confident to a fault. Prior to Mufasa's death, he behaves like a spoiled kid who does whatever he wants. He doesn't heed Scar's warnings that the Elephant Graveyard is a dangerous place, even recruiting Nala to come with him without any concern for dragging her into danger. When Zazu finds Simba and Nala in the Elephant Graveyard and urges them to leave, Simba simply tells him that he "laughs in the face of danger". Even when confronted by hyenas and clearly being in danger, Simba is dismissive of them and thinks they're not even a threat to them, even talking back to them.
Physically, Simba's a young lion cub. He has claws and can do a little bit of damage if threatened, but he's probably as strong as a house cat at his age.
4. What would make them happiest?
Seeing his dad again. Heck, just seeing his family again. Simba lost everything when his dad died. He lost his best friend, his family, and his home. He's a kid, and he wants that comfort that everything's going to be okay. He sort of gets that from Timon and Pumbaa teaching him "Hakuna Matata", but he's still left with the horrible thought that Mufasa's death was his fault and he can't go home because of it. He'd wish everything to have his family back. Or just to see his father again, at the very least.
5. What do you want out of your character in this setting?
At Simba's canon point, he's still dealing with grief over his father's death. I'd like for him to find family again, and maybe learn how to deal with that grief in a healthier way than his current way of "just ignore it". Or maybe he can just go on wacky fantasy adventures and learn to make friends along the way.
